Multi-platinum alternative-pop star Melanie Martinez has announced her highly-anticipated The Trilogy Tour, kicking off September 18th at Ireland’s 3Arena in Dublin, before hitting the UK, Germany, Czech Republic and more through mid-October. Men I Trust will perform as support at selected concerts and Elita on the entire tour.
The Trilogy Tour, her most ambitious concert tour to date, will showcase the evolution of her alter ego “Cry Baby” live and will feature hits from all three of her breakthrough albums Cry Baby, K-12 and Portals, which have collectively amassed over 14 billion streams worldwide to date .
The PORTALS tour celebrated the arrival of her new album PORTALS. Described by Rolling Stone as a “slightly inventive and mature record” from “an artist who isn’t afraid to start from scratch and tackle complex and difficult ideas,” the album became Melania’s top debut on the Billboard 200 when it was released in March 2023. It debuted at number two in its first week with 142,000 units sold, marking her third consecutive Billboard 200 Top 10 album debut.
PORTALS features the hit singles “VOID” and “DEATH,” which made history as her first original songs to debut on the Billboard “Hot 100” chart. “DEATH” is accompanied by a cinematic accompanying music video – directed, conceived and costume designed by Melania herself – which topped YouTube’s “Top Music Videos” chart and now boasts over 36 million official views. The track and its captivating accompanying visual earned praise from the likes of Billboard magazine, who raved: “The avant-garde pop auteur creates bold, expansive worlds with each project… While the dramatic five-minute track can be associated with her artistic awakening, the kinetic drums and electronic elements cause , that listeners will feel reborn.”
