Vojtěch Dyk is heading for Dykuvzdání. The visual of the concert in the O2 arena has been declassified
Singer Vojtěch Dyk is preparing with his original project D.Y.K. a big concert in the O2 arena, which will take place under the name Dykuvzdání on November 27, 2024. Now he presents the poster.
“We discovered that at our concerts, of which we went to several dozen last year, both in clubs and in larger concert halls, a new tribe is actually created with the help of music – the D.Y. Tribe. Everyone feels good in it, including us and the people who go to the concerts,” says Vojtěch Dyk. “When we were thinking about the Dykuvzdán visual, it occurred to me that the human body actually forms a kind of stem, a foundation from which feelings and emotions can grow. And without clothing, the body-trunk has its purity and at the same time offers the possibility to project colors or ornaments onto it that express other feelings. So, for the first time, I also offered my body as a canvas for a poster that is colorful, fun and playful, because I hope that the Dykuvzdání concert will be like that,” adds the singer.
He collaborated on the visual with Jakub Zagar, who is also the author of the poster photo.
The final form of the poster was created after a demanding search, when Vojt’s body was painted with dozens of graphic motifs using computer programs, before finally choosing the most suitable one.
“The signal orange color usually symbolizes something to pay attention to,” says the singer. “I believe that the audience will not miss either our poster or our concert, because whoever comes to celebrate Dykuvzdání with us will not be stupid. I promise, as my name is Dyk.”
The concert in the O2 arena follows on from last year’s successful tour called V přítomnosti. The original program is prepared and not only songs from the existing repertoire will appear, but also a number of new songs, on which Vojta Dyk is continuously working with, among others, Grammy winner Ondřej Pivec.
