World-Renowned Cellist Virtuoso Hauser Returns to Prague – Performing at the O2 arena Prague
One of the most acclaimed cellists of our time, Hauser, is returning to the Czech Republic with his solo concert The Rebel is Back. The Croatian native, known not only for his precise playing but also for his charisma, will perform on December 11, 2025, at the O2 arena Prague.
Formerly a member of the popular duo 2Cellos, Hauser began his solo career in 2022 and has since captivated audiences worldwide with his innovative arrangements of classical and modern pieces. His concerts blend classical elegance with elements of pop and film music, attracting a broad audience across generations. His unique style of playing and the use of pyrotechnics add a distinctive touch to his shows.
Hauser, whose full name is Stjepan Hauser, began performing in Europe’s largest theaters as a soloist at the age of 20, collaborating with many of Europe’s and the world’s most prominent orchestras. He has performed in regions such as Asia, South Africa, New Zealand, and the United States. His debuts took place in prestigious concert halls, including Wigmore Hall in London, Royal Albert Hall (London), and Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
For his artistry, he has received numerous prestigious international awards and has had the honor of performing for the Prince of Wales, Charles, both at Buckingham Palace and St. James’s Palace. In 2011, he joined Luka Šulić (2Cellos) on Elton John’s global tour.
The concert will feature pieces from his solo album The Player, celebrating the fusion of classical music with the rhythms of tango, pop, and film scores. Iconic compositions and surprises, which Hauser performs at his concerts globally, will not be missing.
Tickets for Prague concert will go on sale starting January 31 at 10:00 AM. A fan presale begins earlier, on January 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
